  • League Cup 3rd Round Draw

    The SPFL have advised that the draw for the 3rd round of the Scottish Communities League Cup will take place this Thursday August 27th 2015 at Hampden Park at 1430.

    The 3rd round draw is seeded and will see the 4 European Teams plus Dundee Utd join the fray along with the top three qualifiers from the 2nd round ties.

    The 11 second round matches are taking place over the next two nights with nine ties taking place on Tuesday and two on Wednesday.

    The League Cup 2015-2016 3rd Round draw was made today and came up with the following ties;

    Kilmarnock v Hearts

    Rangers v St.Johnstone

    Ross County v Falkirk

    Livingston v Inverness CT

    Celtic v Raith Rovers

    Dundee Utd v Dunfermline

    Morton v Motherwell

    Hibernian v Aberdeen

     

    Ties are to be played 22/23 September 2015

     
  • League Cup 3rd Round Fixtures Announced

    The dates for the 3rd round League Cup ties have been announced today with the BBC opting to screen the Rangers v St.Johnstone match live on Tues 22nd September (KO 1945).

    Dundee United v Dunfermline Athletic 7.45pm
    Livingston v Inverness Cal. Th. 7.45pm
    Morton v Motherwell 7.45pm
    Rangers v St. Johnstone 7.15pm Live on BBC Scotland
    Ross County v Falkirk 7.45pm

    WEDNESDAY 23 SEPTEMBER 2015
    Celtic v Raith Rovers 7.45pm
    Hibernian v Aberdeen 7.45pm
    Kilmarnock v Heart of Midlothian 7.45pm

    All ties to be played to a finish with extra time and penalty kicks if required.
  • League Cup 3rd Round Seeding

    Following tonights 2nd round ties, even with two remaining to be played on Wednesday, the 8 seeds for the third round have been confirmed.

    These are Celtic, Aberdeen, St.Johnstone, ICT, Dundee Utd, Ross County, Kilmarnock & Motherwell.

    The non seeded clubs will be Dunfermline, Hearts, Falkirk, Morton, Raith, Livingston, Airdrie or Rangers and Hibs or Stranraer.

    Those last two games are on this evening, and the draw for the 3rd round takes place on Thursday at 1430.

     
  • Petrofac Quarter Final Draw

    The draw for the Quarter Finals of the Petrofac Cup takes place today at Hampden at 1430.

    Dunfermline, Elgin City, Livingston, Peterhead, Queens Park, Rangers, St.Mirren and Stenhousemuir all go into the draw which is no longer regionalised.
