Scottish Football Tips Best Bets 27th February 2016

We are delighted to continue a tie up with Scottish Football Tips who will be providing us with a regular series of free football tips. These guys have a great track record of success in tipping and are well worth a follow on twitter too (@FitbaTips).

It doesn’t get any better than last week’s clean sweep. It’s always a great feeling to be giving the bookie ‘the brush’ but I wouldn’t be getting carried away and expecting it to happen week on week. A lot of people are under the misconception that being a successful football bettor means winner after winner after winner.

It’s not. It’s about coming out ahead in the long run and for that you have to take the rough with the smooth. Last week was very smooth which means there is likely to be a rough patch ahead.

Hopefully it won’t be this week and I certainly have every confidence in the NAP. Some may see it as too short to bother with but the likelihood of it occurring means it holds plenty of value for singles backers.

Ross County have seen three or more goals in their last eight home league matches and thirteen out of their fifteen home games this season. They have a very cavalier style at home with draws just completely out of the question. It’s win or bust for them in most games and if it secures them a fourth place finish who is going to argue?

Dundee Utd will arrive in Dingwall in a win or bust situation of their own although their need is much more pressing. They surely have to go for the win here to have anything approaching a punchers’ chance of survival. A cavalier home team and a do or die away side usually leads to goals and +2.5 goals is very backable @ 1.82 with Marathon Bet.

The Even Money Double has won six times from seven and that’s a strike rate that simply can’t be maintained. This week’s is a simple home wins double and when you see who I’ve included you will understand why I am dampening expectations.

Aberdeen at home to an off form St Johnstone shouldn’t be too difficult but I am doubling it up with Peterhead who SHOULD beat Brechin at home. Of course my record with Peterhead is less than spectacular. The double pays best with Skybet @ 2.09 and looks to be worth a go.

For the In With A Chance bet I am returning to the under 2.5 goals double that was successful last week. This time I am taking two games from League 2 with Queens Park v East Fife and Arbroath v Clyde the focus of attention. The double pays best at 5.04 again with Marathon Bet.

Good luck wih all your bets this week
